For the first time in many months, EAC hosted the SPHSL games. This Saturday, December 4th, our athletes played 4 games against the Chapel Trojans.
Starting off the day, our girls’ soccer team played and won beautifully, with an amazing 7×0. While this game happened on the soccer field, the boys’ volleyball team had a tough battle against Chapel. Unfortunately, the Giants lost the deciding set, ending the game on 3×2.
After this, the girls’ volleyball team took the court. The final score for the girls was 3×0, meaning that the league’s final will happen next Saturday against the PACA warriors, where the Giants have already guaranteed at least a silver medal. At the same time, the boys’ soccer team was battling through a game against the Chapel athletes. The result from the field was just as expected, an amazing 2×0.
The season is coming to an end, only having one day of games left. Unfortunately, for COVID-19 safety measures, it won’t be allowed for an audience here at school. But the game will be transmitted, if you would like to support our young athletes, then please join. Go Giants!
