The 6th-grade field trip will take place from September 20th to 22nd! The destination will be Brotas, Fazenda Estância Peraltas Aquatic (Farm Estancia Peraltas Aquatic). This trip aims to provide the students with moments of integration, and learning, as well as activities linked to Nature and Astronomy through experiential activities at the CEU Foundation, but most importantly, joy!
Fazenda Estância Peraltas Aquatic
The main destination, Peraltas, is an Eco Resort in the State of São Paulo. Being the largest astronomy and science complex in Latin America, qualified professionals use interdisciplinary teaching tools with contemporary Transversal themes. More than 30 options for activities and experiences aligned with classroom study in different areas of knowledge are prepared, including integration activities with nature such as floating along the Jacaré Pepira River.
The journey to Peraltas will start once everyone arrives at EAC at 8: 10 am. The ride will take an hour and a half with fruits and snacks, and once everyone settles, lunch will be served! After lunch, there will be an introduction to Geology, a subject that studies Earth. The research will be accompanied by rock workshops and observation activities! Besides Geology, leisure activities such as free activities including, trampoline and mechanical bull will be ready. Once you fully enjoy these activities, snacks will be provided, and you students will be required to go to bed at 10 pm.
On the second day, breakfast will be served at 8 am. There will be a Fossil Workshop at the CEU Foundation where you can dive deeper into rocks such as touching, hearing explanations, and creating your own fossils! The next adventure will be at a lake where students can rest. In the lake, socializing, riding the zip line, and leisure activities will be waiting for you! Before you wear out of these exciting activities, dinner will be set up by the bonfire with music, guitar, hot dog, hamburger, coke, potato chips, and marshmallows! Once you relish the feast, diverse games will be waiting for you.
On the last day, all you do is enjoy the Jacaré Pepira River! You will do rafting all day, then return to Campinas.
