Junior Retreat is approaching!
Field trips for the juniors will take place in Torrinha e Brotas, from September 20th to 22nd, with the Ivian monitor. The departure from EAC will be at 8:15. You should arrive 10 minutes earlier!
The estimated time for arrival at the Eco Resort Recanto Alvorada is 10:15. The check-in will be made with breakfast included.
From 10:30 to 12:00, there will be activities taught by teachers in the hotel room. After the activity, lunch will be provided inside the hotel.
If you finish having lunch, you are free to use the hotel facilities until the afternoon. Feel free to enjoy the afternoon snack. After taking a shower and having dinner inside the hotel, there will be other activities taught by teachers. (TBD)
On the second day morning, we will have breakfast and do activities taught by teachers. From 8:30 am to 10:00 am, we will learn 21 Things + Values through the use of the internet projector and flip chart – a “school-style” room with a table. Moreover, at 10:30 a.m., we will have activities related to IB and CAS in the same environment as the previous activities. After finishing all of the activities, we will enjoy lunchtime! Until 4:30 pm, we will just use our time with hotel leisure facilities with an afternoon snack!! The next activity will be Cannibal. After that, we will take a bath and have dinner in the evening. (TBD) Storytelling activities taught by school teachers and Laua will be prepared for us.
The last day will start with breakfast and activities taught by teachers. At 9:30 a.m., the Junior Retreat will come to an end with a closing session. Lunch will be provided by the hotel, and rafting will start down the Jacaré Pepira River in teams, using inflatable boats and safety equipment. At 5: 30 pm there will be time for an afternoon snack, a quick shower, and a change of clothes. At 7: 30 p.m., the ride to Campinas will take off, returning at EAC at 9:00 p.m.
