Sports have been a part of the Giant culture for a long time. Every semester, our student-athletes dedicate themselves, show up for practices twice a week, and miss classes in pursuit of a medal in the São Paulo High School League, Little 8, Big 8, and the recently created Final Four Tournaments.
EAC has been known for being an exceptional team when it comes to sports. Being one of the most prestigious teams in the tournaments, our victories are engraved on the gym’s walls where all of our trophies and titles are on display. Although EAC has participated in tournaments it no longer does such as the Friendship Tournament, and Inter 6, we have always made sure to make our mark on the court. Generations of Giants have witnessed the successes our teams have achieved. The titles we conquer today are not exclusive to the present. Back in ’97, our Varsity Boys Volleyball and Futsal Team won 1st place in the league. The JV Girls Volleyball reached second place in the Little 8 tournament, a tournament that EAC still takes part in. Always with a smile on our faces, the Giants are known for their balance sportsmanship, hard work, collaboration, and ability, characteristics of a great team deserving of trophies and medals.

This semester, our teams have participated in multiple tournaments. In the SPHSL, our JV soccer teams got 2nd place, both only surpassed by the Graded Eagles. Our boys and girls JV Basketball teams achieved 3rd place in the league. The JV Basketball Girls proved themselves as true champions on the Little 8, finishing the competition as vice-champions. This semester, our Varsity Basketball teams worked hard to reach a title. The Boys conquered the bronze medal at the Big 8. The Varsity Soccer boys held second place at Rancho and 4th place in the Final Four. Our Varsity Girls’ Soccer has kept up the tradition of always being present on the podium. On the SPHSL, they brought the gold home. On the Big 8 and Final 4, second place was the final result. We are extremely proud of our Giants in and outside the field, as individuals and athletes, showing their hard work and excellency. Keep up the good work!
