Maybe we’ll meet again someday,
When we have found ourselves.
And maybe you’ll make an idiotic joke like u always did,
The ones u knew I would laugh at until I ran out of breath.
Maybe u will send me a “<3 ” once more,
Which you knew made me smile like a fool,
Maybe we’ll stay up until 3 am talking about life again,
The time when we would let our hearts out
And blurt out all the things that have been bothering us,
And maybe all this won’t happen in this lifetime,
I don’t know much about reincarnation,
But I genuinely hope our souls guide themselves back to each other in the next life,
And u will look at me with that glimmer in your eyes,
With that stupid,
Heart-shattering smile of yours,
And somehow,
I will remember.
‘Cause how can I forget?
Impossible.
But until then,
I will continue to love u from afar,
And let u find your person again,
Even if it’s not me.
