Since the school year started, so have the soccer and basketball seasons. In the past two weeks, our Varsity Giants have played against the Chapel Trojans, the PACA Warriors, and Graded Eagles in pursuit of the SPHSL.
On August 16th, Varsity Soccer Girls scored 3×1 against the Trojans. The boy’s games ended at 6×1 for the Trojans. At home on August 24, both teams scored a victory. The boys scored 2 goals against PACA. Despite PACA scoring the first goal of the game, the girls scored 3×1. Last Wednesday, both teams went to São Paulo to fight the Eagles. The graded girls won by 3×1. Our boys played very hard, but unfortunately, the Eagles scored 5×1.
The basketball teams have also had a successful start in the season. During their first game, the Varsity boys made their mark against Chapel, resulting in 38×32 for our team. On the same day, the girls also won by 17×10. Last Friday, our basketball teams went to PACA in pursuit of another round of victories. This time, the PACA girls took the victory, winning by 15×7. The boys were again successful, scoring 31×23 against the Warriors. Last Friday, Graded came to EAC to play against our basketball team. The Eagles won both games, girls by 43×9, and boys by 40×27.
For those interested in Volleyball, unfortunately, the season will only start next semester, but for now, you are welcome at the pre-season, on Fridays from 4:30 to 6 pm.
